Expressing Love



Love is one of expressions of feeling. It is defined as strong liking or affection. Love can be. addressed to our parents, families, friends, things, hobbies or someone special. The following are expressions of love which are addressed to a person.

I really love you and I will always do.
I truly love you endlessly.
There's nothing to compare my love for you.
I love you too.
Me too.
I don't love you.
Sorry. I don't love you anymore.
I'm really sorry, I can't .... I'll never stop loving you.

Exercise  3
Read the following dialogue and then identify the expressions of love found in the dialogue!

Miss Tasya and Mr. Robby are a couple of lovers. Mr. Robby is going to go to England for studying. He wants to take magister degree there. Therefore, he has to say goodbye to his lover. Now, they are talking at a waiting room of an airport.
Mr. Robby    : You have to take care of yourself.
Ms. Tasya : You too. You must not find a girl there. If you do that, I will ,not forgive you.
Mr. Robby    : Trust in me. 1 truly love you endlessly. You may not have relationship with Tony. He is your ex-boyfriend, but I know that he still loves you.
Ms. Tasya  : Okay. I don't love him anymore, so I will do what you want me to do.
Mr. Robby    : I will be in England for two years. If my face becomes wrinkled, will you still love me?
Ms. Tasya : Of course. I'll always love you.
Mr. Robby    : I want you to keep our love. I will marry you as soon as I'm back here.
Ms. Tasya : Really? I'm happy to hear it.
Mr. Robby    : Well, it's my time to go. Goodbye, Honey.
Ms. Tasya : Goodbye and best of luck, Honey. I love you much.
